“Riobana” is a captivating six-track EP that blends infectious old-school funk, rap, 80s pop, R&B, disco and Bossa Nova-inspired rhythms into a romantic musical journey set against the vibrant backdrop of Copacabana Beach. Each track unfolds a chapter in an evolving love story — from a chance encounter to lasting devotion.
The title track, “Riobana,” a soothing and romantic bossa nova ballad with soulful rhythms, serves as a musical backdrop set in a scene inside a dazzling nightclub pulsing with energy, where a man falls under the spell of a mysterious woman as they dance the night away.
The heat intensifies with “Cha Mama Aha,” a funky fusion of Afro-Latin, disco, and modern rhythms that irresistibly pulls you to the dance floor, where attraction turns to passion through the rhythm of movement and the allure of the woman’s sensual grace.
In “I’m Dreaming When I Think of You,” a sensuous R&B ballad, layered with elegant symphonic melodies, captures the romance as it deepens. The man becomes consumed by love, unable to think of anything else.
